Flag Day

This is a District 4-L5 and MD-4 endorsed project.

Provides American Flags to Lions' for distribution to school children. Lions have presented over two million flags and the District encourages all Clubs to become involved with the Flag Day Program. Presentations ranging from simple gift-giving of flags, to elaborate ceremonies involving the entire student body, faculty, community, civic leaders and bands can each in their own way be appropriate and successful. The meaning of patriotism, pride in one's homeland, delivered in an honest and sincere manner is the key. Our flag stands for America, freedom and equality for all! BE PROUD OF YOUR FLAG - BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!
