The Western Lions Ear Foundation was established to coordinate Western Lions financial support to organizations who's main purpose is the research and treatment of ear and hearing problems.The initial project of the Western Lions Ear Foundation is the Western Lions Ear Foundation Fund at the House Ear Institute. This Fund was established in 1996 by the transfer of $247,000 from the Western Lions Ear Foundation to the House Ear Institute. The Foundation proposed that they would add to the Fund annually with the intent to build the corpus to $1,000,000.
